Annual Credit Plan for AP released; Rs 28,261 crore allocated for MSME sector

New Delhi, July 14 (KNN) An annual credit plan for Andhra Pradesh has been released by AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for the year 2018-19.

The annual credit plan amounting to Rs 1,94,220 crore has been decided for the fiscal year, which includes 1,44,220 crore for priority sector and 50,000 crore for non priority sector.

In addition it provides Rs 10,457 crore for heavy industries, Rs 3,745 crore for MSME, Rs 14,028 crore for micro enterprises, Rs 11,500 crore for small enterprises, Rs 2,733 crore for medium enterprises, totalling Rs 28,261 crore for MSME sector.

Addressing bankers on the occasion, the Chief Minister urged them to help beneficiaries in a big way.

He said people are facing problems with banking sector after demonetization and are often left confused.

Now, they are unwilling to deposit cash in banks, he said, adding that the State government is facing problems in disbursing money under MGNREGS due to shortage of cash in banks.

The bankers should come forward to develop all the regions, he said, while pitching for the use of technology to yield better results

The Chief Minister asked the bankers to prepare plans for inclusiveness in every month.
