Government Panel invites IBC 2016 related suggestions-comments

New Delhi, Dec 14 (KNN) In an attempt to explore the views and suggestions from different stakeholders including the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), the Insolvency Law Committee, has invited suggestions/comments about the provisions of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code and the Rules and Regulations.

Earlier, during the first meeting of the insolvency law committee head on 8th December with Secretary of Corporate Affairs, Injeti Sriniwas heading the panel, it was decided that the committee would roll out a feedback portal for the different stakeholders to add to the discussion around the rules and regulations.

The comments/suggestions along with brief justification may be sent through the online facility available on MCA website up to 10th January, 2018, Ministry of Corporate Affairs said in a press release.

The Insolvency Law Committee was constituted by the government to take stock of the functioning and implementation of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code.  Also the committee is tasked to identify the issues that may impact the efficiency of the Corporate Insolvency Resolution and the Liquidation Framework prescribed under the Code.
