Passport office in Noida and Ghaziabad to go “online-only mode” from March

New Delhi, Feb 28 (KNN) Starting from March 1, all the passport related work in Noida and Ghaziabad will go on an “online-only” mode, a media report said.

These offices will be boarding to an Electronic Queue Management System (EQMS) after February 28.

“The entire process for applying and issuing of passports as well as for response to queries will be handled online”, regional passport officer Dharmendra Yadav said in a press interview.

Those who have queries can seek time slots for appointments with officials from Monday to Thursday through the online system. Appointment will be scheduled in advance and particular officials will be made accountable for resolving each query. No query will be entertained without prior online appointment, he added.

This online-only process is to be completely free of cost, he further informed. (With Inputs from a media report) (KNN/DA)
