Conference on Sub-Regional Private Dialogue of SAARC countries begins in Dhaka

Dhaka, Apr 2 (KNN) The two days Sub-Regional Private Dialogue (PPD) on Promoting Trade In Bangladesh-Bhutan-India-Nepal conference has begun in Dhaka with a view to promote trade between the SAARC nations.

The conference is jointly organised by the Metropolitan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (MCCI), Dhaka; SAARC Chambers of Commerce and Industry (SCCI); and The Asia Foundation (TAF).

Speaking at the conference, the Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Bangladesh said that under any circumstances trade and trade relation should be done.

He further explained that trade has always been there even in war situations as one cannot move without trade because it is an integrated economy and a global system.
