New Delhi, Jan 19 (KNN) The new business application from WhatsApp crafted especially for assisting Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) crossed the 100,000 mark in terms of its downloads within a day of its launch.

The free android app that makes it easier for companies to connect with customers, as well as its 1.3 billion users to chat with businesses was rolled out earlier yesterday on play store of countries including Indonesia, Italy, Mexico, the UK and the US.

The app is likely to be launched for other countries including India in the coming weeks, a press statement informed.

The new business app by WhatsApp aims to assist the SMEs with useful information such as a business description, email or store addresses and website.

They will also be able to review simple metrics like the number of messages read to see what’s working. (KNN/DA)
