Govts should pay attention to companies with less than 30 employees, the small businesses: Jack Ma

New Delhi, Feb 7 (KNN) Alibaba Founder Jack Ma gave a key advice to every government that 30-30-30 focus will ensure tomorrow is more inclusive that today. In one of his advises, he asked the governments to pay attention to companies that have less than 30 employees, the small businesses.

Jack Ma was addressing the World Economic Forum's annual outing at Davos.

His first tip said, “Pay attention to the next 30 years. They will be critical for the world. Every technology revolution takes 50 years. In the first 20 years, the companies/technologies are established. The implications of the technological developments will become evident in the next 30 years.”

His second advice said, “Pay attention to the 30 year olds. They are the internet generation and will change the world. They will build a new tomorrow.”

And lastly, he advised to, “Pay attention to companies that have less than 30 employees, the small businesses. Take the lead from Forrest Gump. Ma quoted from his favourite Hollywood movie,

"Nobody makes money catching whales. People make money catching shrimps," he said.

Speaking at the World Economic Forum in January, Jack Ma also said, “What I am thinking about: how we can make Alibaba a platform for global small business.”

He described the vision as an e-commerce version of the World Trade Organization (WTO).

“Today, the Internet can help small businesses sell things across the oceans, across nations. And I hope we can serve two billion consumers. We can help ten million small businesses outside China,” he said, speaking in English.
