IIIT-Hyderabad to carry second batch for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning course, applications open

New Delhi, Nov 27 (KNN) IIIT-Hyderabad  in joint collaboration  with TalentSprint  will begin enrollments for its second batch of the recently introduced  “Foundations of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning” program in January 2018.The program focuses on women and aims to promote diversity in the technological companies.

Dr. P.J. Narayanan, Director, IIIT-Hyderabad in a press statement said that the AI systems which were used in academic research had now become indispensable to the mainstream enterprise space. He added that the awareness of current technology trends and development methodologies are needed in today's enterprise IT environments.

Santanu Paul, Co-Founder and CEO of TalentSprint highlighted the importance of   AI/ML capabilities for career progression in IT industry. He added that the programme had already seen enrolments from across fifty tech. companies which clearly indicates that the market is ready for high-end programs.

Also Ranga Pothula, President of HYSEA, said that the women are being encouraged via special scholarships to join the IIIT–H program on AI/ML which is great for industry.

The first batch has received huge response as around  250 software professionals, with a good range of industry experience, have registered .The registrations for second batch has also been begun with  special scholarships for women professionals. (KNN/AG)
