Digital transformation affecting employment: Uttarakhand Min

New Delhi, July 20 (KNN) The digital transformation is gradually replacing humans and creating unemployment problem, said Uttarakhand Minister (Independent Charge) for Co-operatives, Higher Education, Dairy Development and Protocol, Dhan Singh Rawat.

He was speaking at the17th edition of INFOCOM, a business technology leadership conference organized by ABP group.

The theme of the event was “When Digital Becomes Human”.

FISME- national body of over 700 SME associations was the SME partner in organizing to facilitate participation of MSMEs.

The daylong conference witnessed deliberations and debates from leaders on vibrant range of topics that promote business-technology-leadership convergence.

While inaugurating INFOCOM 2018, Uttarakhand Minister Dhan Singh Rawat said that with the emergence of technology, humans have just become robots.

The digital transformation is gradually replacing humans and causing problems like unemployment but on the other hand it reduces the time involved in completing the task as well the work load, he added.

IT secretaries of Bihar and Jharkhand, Rahul Singh and Vinay Kumar Choubey were also present during the conference.

The Key themes on which leaders discussed were Transforming Education in India, Investment & Business Destination, succeeding in an Era of Digital Business, Empowering SMEs to enhance Credit Worthiness, Benefits of Digitalization for SMEs, Building a Citizen Engagement Ecosystem and Securing the Digital Human.
