NID calls upon MSME Minister Giriraj Singh to discuss design intervention

New Delhi, Dec 14 (KNN) Eyeing at facilitating innovation through the means of design intervention among the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) of the country, delegation from National Institute of Design (NID) recently met the Minister of State for MSME Giriraj Singh in the national capital.

During the meeting, NID made a presentation on the theme ‘Design Intervention for Small Enterprises Project'.

MSME Minister Giriraj Singh informed of the meeting in a tweet from his official twitter handle.

Also a presentation on Tea on Go project was presented covering different stages of the project including ideation and implementation.

MSME Secretary Dr Arun Kumar Panda along with other officials from the ministry were present during the meeting.

Ahmadabad based National Institute of Design (NID) is a design school under the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

NID is recognised by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research under Ministry of Science and Technology as a scientific and industrial design research organisation. The organization was placed in the list of top design schools in the world in Business week’s 2010 list. (KNN/ DA)
