MSME Industrial Green Park to be launched soon in Yadadri district of Telanagna

Telangana, June 6 (KNN) An industrial park for green category MSMEs will be set up soon in Dandumalkapur, Yadadri district of Telangana, said Industries Minister K.T. Rama Rao.

“It will be launched soon,” Rao said, pointing out that a few hundred companies had already evinced interest in setting up units.

He made the above announcement at the release of the 2017-18 report of Department of Industries and Commerce.

This Park will be spread over 377 acres of the land and the projected investment is around Rs 750 crore, said Rao.

The MSME Green Industrial Park will generate employment for 12,250 people, he added.

Besides, he said “some of the major facilities to be launched this fiscal include Seed Park in BFandamylaram, near Medchal; a LED Park in Sangareddy district; and a Food Processing Park in Banda Thimmapur.”

Further, he mentioned that of the 19 locations, identified by TSIIC outside outer ring road to re-site polluting industries that now are within ORR, 3 are in a ready –to- move state.

In this regard, incentives would be extended to units to relocate, Rao added.

On the Hyderabad Pharma City, Mr.Rao said the project had got in-principle approval from a committee of the Union Ministry of Environment and Forests and awaiting EC from the Ministry, post which the project, with a projected investment of ₹64,000 crore and potential to provide jobs for 4.20 lakh people, would move.

In implementing the project, the focus would be on taking the local people into confidence, he said, referring to the recent violent protests in Tamil Nadu.

At least one job would be provided per family whose land is being acquired for the pharma city project, he added.
