Chennai, Jan 27 (KNN) The MSME-Development Institute (MSME-DI), Chennai, is organizing a National Vendor Development Programme (NVDP) along with an exhibition and Buyer-Seller meet in Hosur in February.

The event will be held from February 17-20, 2017. Hosur is an Industrial town and a municipality in Krishnagiri district in Tamil Nadu.

MSME- Development Institute, Chennai, is an establishment of the Ministry of MSME, Government of India. It is organizing the programme in association with Krishnagiri District Small and Tiny Industries Association (KRIDISTIA).

During the industrial exhibition around 140 manufacturing / service enterprises, both large as well as medium and small industries are expected to participate. On the sideliners of the event, a seminar cum buyer- seller’s meet will also be organized.

According to the organizers, NVDP will help MSMEs expand their market base and explore new market avenues for supplies to major Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), Government Departments and Large Scale Companies.

On the other hand, the PSUs like Railways, BHEL,NLC,BEML,HAL,who are likely to participate in the event and show case their requirements will assess the competencies and capabilities of the potential MSMEs participating in the event.

Vendor Registration Procedures of respective PSUs/PSUEs will be explained by the officials representing major enterprises. A souvenir will also be published on the occasion. An information brochure is enclosed.

In this context, the organizers have called for MSME units to participate at the exhibition and leverage the opportunity to link with the PSUs. (KNN Bureau)
