UP govt to provide all possible support to MSMEs in the state: Yogi Adityanath

New Delhi, July 11 (KNN) Highlighting the immense possibilities in the field of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) in Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath assured the entrepreneurs all possible support from the government in the state.

Expressing his views on the inauguration of the Uttar Pradesh Entrepreneur Mahasammelan-2018, organized by the Indian Industries Association (IIA) he said that the State Government has implemented a MSME centered scheme 'One District - One Product' (ODOP) and a comprehensive conference will be organized next month in relation to this plan.

In the MSME sector, large number of employment opportunities is created with use of relatively less capital, he added.

In view of the unlimited opportunities of employment in this area, Adityanath said the state government will link ODOP with the Central and state schemes, and make efforts to make 2 crore youth self-reliant through self-employment.

Yogi told that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of the Eastern Expressway on 14th July. This expressway will be helpful in furthering all types of enterprises in the state.

Speaking on the occasion he said, “There is a need to search alternative of plastic-based development. A model which is durable and environment-friendly should be adopted.”

Besides, he informed that on July 29, the Prime Minister will inaugurate projects worth Rs 60,000 crore in Lucknow. After this, efforts will be made to accelerate the development of Uttar Pradesh in every three months through this kind of program.

Committed to the realization of establishment of the Defense Industrial Corridor in the State in a timely manner on the occasion of the UP Investors Summit he said that the guarantee of security for industrial development is necessary.

 The present state government has provided an environment of security in the state. This has given direction to the industrial development of the state, he added.

Indian Industry Association's President Sunil Vaish, General Secretary KK Agrawal, Industrial Development Minister Satish Mahana, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Export Promotion Minister Satyadev Pachauri, Chief Secretary Anup Chandra Pandey, Director General of Police OP Singh were present during the event.
