MyMSME mobile app registers 10,000 downloads in 2 days

New Delhi, Apr 29 (KNN) The Ministry of Micro, Medium and Small Enterprise on Thursday launched two initiatives at the National Board Meeting of the MSMEs.  Along with the MSEFC portal, the Ministry launched MyMSME mobile application.

The launch was done by Venkaiah Naidu, Union Minister for Urban Development, Information and Broadcasting in the presence of Kalraj Mishra, Union MSME Minister and Haribhai Parthibhai Chaudhary, MoS MSME.

Following the launch of the app, there have been over 10,000 downloads from the Google play store.

The download crossed the 10,000 mark on the day of launch itself.

Addressing the National Board Meeting for the MSMEs at Vigyan Bhawan, S.N Tripathi, Additional Secretary and Development Commissioner said that the good number of downloads indicate that the app was much needed. He also commended the efforts MSMEs are putting in to go digital.

The app was launched considering the demands of the entrepreneurs over the lack of a consolidated space where they could access all the information related to the sector.

Launching the app, Naidu appreciated the Ministry’s effort in facilitating ease of doing business. He also congratulated the MSME ministry for taking steps in line with PM’s Digital India mission.
