Quality Council seeks entries from industry for QCI-DL Shah Quality Award

New Delhi, Apr 19 (KNN) To recognize successful quality improvement project carried out by an organization, the Quality Council of India (QCI) has announced 12th Edition of QCI-DL Shah Quality Award.

The award is a part of quality promotion activities of QCI which is administered by the National Board for Quality Promotion, a constituent board of QCI.

In this regard, QCI has sought nominations from industry for project based QCI-D.L. Shah Quality Award. The last date for submission of applications is April 30, 2018.

The award endeavours to provide motivation and stimulates continual improvement within the organization. It also helps build confidence of customers and stakeholders in the organization.

The awards are given for specific projects which must be submitted in the form of case studies.

There are three level of the awards – Platinum, Gold and Silver and is open for any government organization, Public Sector Units, NGO and MSMEs.

The organization can be from sectors such as – Manufacturing, Healthcare, IT/ ITes, Finance, Infrastructure, Education, Service, Pharma, Food, Petroleum, Oil and Gas and Others.

After submitting the application online, the organization will have to get its documents assessed then make a project presentation. After the site verification, the final selection will be made by the Jury from QCI and DL Shah Trust.

The Award Recipients will be announced during the 13th National Quality Conclave tentatively to be held on September 19-20, 2018.

The QCI-DL Shah Quality Awards were launched in 2007 and are positioned PAN-India as the recognition for successful projects of an organisation that have resulted in continuous improvement of processes, products and/or services, better/effective operations and increased customers/ stakeholders satisfaction.
