Tata Steel signs MoU with CTTC to train its employees at Kalinganagar Plant in Jaipur

New Delhi, July 16 (KNN) Tata Steel signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Central Tool Room and Training Centre (CTTC), Bhubaneswar for enhancing the skills of its employees at its plant located in Kalinganagar in Jajpur district on July 12, 2018.

On company’s behalf, Suresh Dutt Tripathi, Vice President, Human Resource Management and Rajiv Kumar Vice President Operations, Tata Steel Kalinganagar signed the MoU document with Sibasis Maity, Managing Director, CTTC and L. Rajasekhar, DGM, CTTC in the presence of Dr. Arun Kumar Panda, Secretary, MSME, Govt of India.

To enhance the academic qualification and the skills and capabilities of Tata Steel Kalinganagar employees, CTTC, Bhubaneswar will conduct specially designed 3-year diploma certificate course in mechanical and electrical engineering, as per the provisions of the MoU.

The syllabus will be jointly approved by Tata Steel and CTTC.

The course has been designed in a way that student can acquire an in-depth knowledge of the concepts of mechanical & electrical engineering and refine the skills needed in the steel industry.

The course is scheduled to start from the 1st week of August 2018 and will be completely sponsored by Tata Steel.
