New Delhi, Jan 12 (KNN) Government, in a tweet, said there is no extension in date for filing GSTR-1 for the period July-November.

In a tweet on January 10, GST@GOI said, “It may please be noted that there is no extension of GSTR-I. There is a fake notification being circulated on social media."

There was fake news doing rounds in social media that the government has extended the deadline to file GSTR-1 for the period July-November till January 15, 2018. The original deadline was January 10, 2018.

At the moment there has been no official word on the extension of deadline.
