India and Sustainability Standards - 4th CRB International Conference to start from today

New Delhi, Nov 15 (KNN) Starting from today the Centre for Responsible Business (CRB) will be holding its flagship annual conference, India and Sustainability Standards: International Dialogue & Conference (ISS) at the India Habitat Center in the national capital extending till 17th of November

This year’s conference is the fourth edition since the inception of the event in 2014.

The program is organized in association with several partner agencies, organizations as well as industry bodies including Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises associations.

Eminent speakers and experts from various field including Anil Bhardwaj Secretary General of Federation of Indian Micro and Small & Medium Enterprises (FISME) is expected to participate in the conference.

This year’s version of the conference ‘India and Sustainability Standards: International Dialogues & Conference’ (ISS,2017) is themed “From Tragedies of the Commons to the Strategies for the Commons”.

It is imperative to appreciate the nature of the tragedies of the commons and the implications for sustainable and inclusive development, the organizers informed in a release.

The event is expected to attract Indian and international policy actors, government agencies, standard setters, large and small businesses, civil society, academia, and media agencies, for participatory and inclusive dialogues on opportunities and challenges for promoting responsible business in India and beyond , with special reference to sustainability standards and collaborative sustainability initiatives, the release added.
