National Street Food Festival kick-starts in New Delhi today

New Delhi, Jan 12 (KNN) The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) is organizing a two day National Street Food Festival starting today in the national capital.

The 9th National Street Food Festival 2018 will showcase about 200 regional cuisines from 25 states across India.

The National Street Food Festival is a vibrant representation of the myriad tastes of the country, with exclusive delicacies and food-items belonging to the streets of Indian states.

Around 500 best street food vendors from across the country will travel to Delhi putting up stalls thronged by food enthusiast and tourists from across the country.

This year two new segments have been added to the festival by FSSAI along with NASVI – Organic Food; and LEGENDS where 20 famous food businesses will display their products under Flavours of Indian Theme.

Famous temples such as Somanth Temple, Meenakshi Temple, ISKON and other eminent temples will also showcase their temple food/Prasad in food festival at the festival.
