AP Govt organizing first ever Annual MSME Awards on June 27

Vijayawada, June 19 (KNN) The Government of Andhra Pradesh has announced the first ever Annual MSME Awards in order to push the spirit of entrepreneurship, employment generation and economic growth in the state.

As many as 20 Awards under various categories will be given under this initiative.

The awards will be presented by the AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on 27 June, 2017, the International day for MSMEs.

In this regard, Joint Director (MSME), Commissionerate of Industries, has sought

applications from the MSMEs for the rewards.

The Commissionerate has also requested industry associations to send at least one application for each award.

The last date for receipt of applications is June 20, 2017, selection of awardees will be done by June 25 and the awards will be presented awards on June 27, 2017.

The awardees will get a trophy as well as a certificate. Further, the winners of the

awards shall have a privilege of allowing their employees to wear labels, pins, ties or

other distinctive badges indicating their award and the year in which it was received.

The entrepreneurs can also use similar symbols on their letterheads or any

advertisement issued along with the year of the award.

“However, it may be noted that the award and privileges may be revoked, if it is found at any stage that there was a misrepresentation of facts or any information provided as part of application materials,” AP Industries Department said in a notification. (KNN Bureau)
