Business Delegation from Canada calls upon Haryana CM Khattar

New Delhi, Jan 15 (KNN) Eyeing at exploring possible investment and business ties, a delegation from Canada called upon Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar recently.

The Indo Canada Chamber of Commerce (ICCC) delegation led by Kanwar Dhanjal, President, met Manohar Lal, Chief Minister, Haryana and with other officers of State Government discussing possible trade ties.

Discussion on industries from different sectors including food processing, information technology, hospitality, legal services, and skill development featured during the meeting.

Delegates mentioned skill development, urban farming and agro & food processing are other important areas where Canadian experts can provide significant help to state.

Sudhir Rajpal, Principal Secretary, Industries emphasized on key initiatives taken by the state and highlighted the scope for MSME investment in Haryana.

Chairman, Foreign Investment and NRI Cell, Ashwin Johar who was also present during the meeting said the State was keen on foreign investments by both international investors and the india diaspora abroad. Organizations such HAFED can explore Canada as a potential market for its products, Ashwin added.
