Awareness programmes on Zed Certification Scheme being conducted for MSMEs in West Bengal

Kolkata, Feb 17 (KNN) The Federation of Small and Medium Industries (FOSMI) is conducting a series of awareness programmes on ZED (Zero Defect Zero Effect) Certification Scheme at different locations in West Bengal.

The industry body has been conducting a series of awareness programmes on ZED Certification Scheme at different locations in West Bengal.

This time the programmes are being conducted in Hooghly and Howrah on February 21 and 23 respectively.

The main objectives of the programmes are to create proper awareness in MSMEs about ZED Manufacturing and motivate them for assessment of their enterprises for ZED rating.

The programme aims to drive manufacturing with adoption of Zero Defect production processes without impacting the environment (Zero Effect).

It will encourage MSMEs to constantly upgrade their quality standards in products and processes.

In this regard, the industry body has invited interested MSMEs to participate at the programme. (KNN Bureau)
