Belgaum women entrepreneurs urge K’taka Industry Minister to set up Common Facility Centre

New Delhi, July 18 (KNN) The women entrepreneurs from Belgaun have urged Karnataka Industry Minister K J George to develop common facility centers for women entrepreneurs in Belgaum.

While interacting with the Minister during his visit to Belgaum, Priya Puranik, Belgaum based entrepreneur cum Secretary, Laghu Udyog Bharati said women entrepreneur’s need common facility centre where they can conduct meetings, trainings, exhibitions, counselling etc.

Agreeing to extend support in this regard, George directed Gaurav Gupta, Commissioner for Industrial Development, Karnataka to look into this matter.

He said that he will lend complete support in setting up CFCs to promote women entrepreneurship in the region.

The meeting with the minister was also attended by the women cell of Laghu Udyog Bharati.

Besides, Minister asked Doddabasavraj, Joint Director of District Industries Centre to help women entrepreneurs and also directed him to facilitate them in getting centre at International Exhibition in Auto Nagar, Belgaum.
