Kolkata, Feb 23 (KNN) In order to help MSMEs be GST ready, experts from Central Excise Department, Government of India, will interact will Kolkata MSMEs on aspects of GST.

A Seminar cum Workshop is being held in the city on February 27, 2017, at the FOSMI office.

The workshop is being held keeping in mind that GST is one of the most significant tax reforms of the country since independence.

It will have an impact on all types of businesses. Government is trying to roll out GST from July 1, 2017.

The experts who would be deliberating on the subject are – M A Ansari, Additional Commissioner, Central Excise, CCO; Ajeet Kumar, Deputy Commissioner, Central Excise; J B Dutta, Superintendent, Central Excise; Subrata Mitra, Superintendent, Central Excise; and Partha Santra, Superintendent, Central Excise.
