New Delhi, Oct 13 (KNN) Eyeing at facilitating information to the make Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) of the region regarding the different schemes of the government including the Digital MSME scheme, Federation of Industrial and Commercial Organization (FICO) Ludhiana recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Eazy ERP, a cloud computing firm in Ludhiana.

Kunal Singhal, MD of Eazy ERP in a press interview said that The Micro Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) sector contributes almost 45% to the nation’s GDP and is playing a pivotal role in socio-economic development, thus it has become very important to work towards the progression of their growth.

The main objective of the memorandum is to encourage MSMEs especially the members of the association to expand their businesses digitally. The MoU further aims to create awareness about “Digital MSME” scheme launched by Government of India.

The digital MSME Scheme is introduced by the Ministry of MSME to promote Information & Communication Technology in MSME Sector and encourage MSMEs to adopt ICT tools like cloud based services and applications in their business processes.

Experts view the collaboration as an important step towards enabling the MSMEs in the region to grow and expand their business both nationally and internationally with minimal investment. (KNN/AG)
