Global Economic Corridor along KMP express-way is engine of growth for the entire nation: MIWA

New Delhi, July 13 (KNN) In a bid to give boost to commercial activities in the region, the Haryana Government has proposed to develop a global economic corridor along the 135-km long KMP expressway across Kundali, Manesar and Palwal, which would have an estimated investment potential of about Rs 3.5 lakh crore.

Talking about this corridor, Vice President of Manesar Industries Welfare Association (MIWA), Manmohan Gaind said that the whole spine is ready with train connection, with road way connection and other services and it will be completed soon which will give major boost to commercial activities in the region.

He said that the future is going to be very bright with this development.

Calling growth a continuous process, he said the growth has already come till Manesar and it will soon be seen in other regions also.

Further, in 10 years it will get integrated with Gurugram as a subsidy, he added.

He said, “This is the next growth engine for this region and for the country as a whole.”

About the upcoming global city, Vipul Goel, Haryana and Industries Minister said that this global city is poised to serve as an important node to Delhi–Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) sub-region of Haryana and carries an investment potential of about  Rs 1.05 lakh crore.

Stating about tool room technology centre that would be set up in IMT Rohtak with an investment of Rs 100 crore, Manmohan Gaind said that the government is encouraging and interacting with us in this regard.

He said that the government is making tireless efforts to make it a huge success and for that they are bringing best machinery to train the maximum youth.

Over the years we will see the lots of improvement in the quality of engineering products, he added.

Besides this, Haryana government would soon implement a logistics and warehouse policy to further develop manufacturing and skill development under micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) sector.
