Jobless allowance to youth in Telangana will uplift weaker sector: AISSIMC

Hyderabad, July 10 (KNN) Chief Minister of Telangana K Chandrashekhar Rao's move to provide direct financial assistance to the unemployed youth belonging to backward classes has been welcomed by the All India Small Scale Industries Minorities Committee (AISSIMC).

Terming it as a revolutionary measure to uplift weaker sections of the society, Minorities Committee President S.Z. Sayeed said that it is a noble measure in the direction of providing employment to the unemployed backward classes’ youth.

He said that nowhere in the country such a measure has been implemented so far.

Further, he added that the Minorities Committee has been demanding direct financial assistance to the unemployed for starting their own small enterprise or business activity and had made representations to the Chief Minister and other authorities in the State.

He also demanded such facility for the minorities as they had been suffering a lot in obtaining loans from banks, how small it may be.

Sayeed demanded that the government should extend the scheme to the Minorities and direct the Minorities Finance Corporation to release direct financial assistance to the unemployed youth.
