New Delhi, Jan 20 (KNN) Eyeing at promoting connect between the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and the large companies, Madurai District Tiny and Small Scale Industries Association (MADITSSIA) is to hold a  three-day buyer-seller meet.

The three day event will begin on January 23 and comes as the fifth edition of such event by the association.

The event is to feature over 100 stalls consisting of government organizations and MSMEs.

These stalls would focus on sectors including engineering equipment, rubber and plastic.

Informing of the upcoming event, B. Muruganantham, Secretary of MADITSSIA said that government officials from different ministries including textile and food are to attend the event.

Over 20 major buyers including Heavy Vehicle Factory, Ordnance Factory, Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd., Aavin and Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant will also be present during the meet, he said.

The three day fair is important since for a better economic growth, it is essential for the MSMEs to be able to collaborate with large companies, Muruganantham added.

Also representatives from six Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) are to attend the expo participate in technical sessions on product purchasing and procurement procedures hosted by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. (KNN/DA)
