Odisha CM launches online Administration of Incentive for MSME

Bhubaneswar, Sept 18 (KNN) In last five years as many as 973 MSME units in the state of Odisha have been given incentives of Rs 80.50 crore and they generated employment to nearly 22,200 persons in the state.

Odisha Chief Minister Navin Patnaik has said the state has been recognised as a "leader" by the Centre for facilitating reforms on doing business.

He said the state government is committed to provide a conducive atmosphere to the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME).

He said this while launching the online Administration of Incentive for MSME (AIM). MSME entrepreneurs will now be able to apply for various incentives online and avail the benefits within a defined timeframe, he said.

“AIM is a step forward to promote 3 T’s - Technology, Transparency and Teamwork - in public service delivery. MSME entrepreneurs now onwards will be able to apply for various incentives under Industrial Policy Resolution (IPR) and MSME Policy online,” he said.

"In recent ranking of ease of doing business declared by the government of India, Odisha has been reckoned as a leader for facilitating reforms for doing business in the state," Patnaik said.
