SSRDP – NSDC to award 200 entrepreneurs, assist them with microfinance

New Delhi, Jan 20 (KNN) Eyeing at encouraging entrepreneurship in the country, Sri Sri Rural Development Program (SSRDP) Trust in collaboration with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) is to award 200 participants under the Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP).

Also as a part of the program, these entrepreneurs will be conferred with the certificates and will be linked with Sri Sri Tattwa (as retailer) and SSHDP for microfinance.

A letter of collaboration will be handed over to AICTE for training 30,000 final year students of AICTE approved colleges, belonging to underprivileged economical section.

The awards and signing of collaboration is to take place during the Sri Sri Rural Development Program “Kaushal Vikas Se Rashtra Vikas” on 21st January in Delhi. Also during the event, there will be a signing of MOU and launching of projects with NSDC for organizing training and skill programs for jail inmates.

During the event, officials from National Skill Development Corporation are likely to interact with the participating youth from Delhi and nearby cities on themes including skill development and entrepreneurship.

Established in 2001 Sri Sri Rural Development Program Trust under the aegis of Art of Living that aims at empowering rural and semi urban India. SSRDP provides platform for people to contribute to society through various social projects under Art of Living banner. (KNN/DA)
