Two-day National Vendor Development Program underway in Ludhiana

New Delhi, Dec 15 (KNN) Eyeing at providing marketing support to the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), the Ministry of MSME through its MSME-DI office is holding a two day national level vendor development program in Ludhiana.

The event kicked off earlier today and will continue tomorrow as well at the GLADA grounds.

The two-day program is expecting a footfall of over 60 micro, small and medium enterprises that will be participating and putting up their products in the expo.

The feature PSUs that are on board includes Rail Coach Factory, Ordnance Cable factor and National Fertilizers limited. Also Bharat Heavy Electronics and Container Corporation of India are to be a apart of the program.

With the vendor development program in place, the MSMEs will get a chance to interact with the PSUs, and help explore details on product requirements.  Also an interactive session dedicated to generate awareness among the MSMEs regarding the procurement policy and procedures is to take place in the two daylong event.

MSME-DI is organizing the event in association with Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU) of Ludhiana. (KNN/ DA)
