UP government to organize state-level summit for the branding of One District One Project Scheme

New Delhi, Apr 20 (KNN) In a bid to promote, ‘One District One Project’ (ODOP) scheme, UP government is going to organize a state-level summit for the branding of scheme.

In this summit experts from MSME industry would be invited to make them aware about the scheme and also educate them about the branding of scheme.

The UP government has a set target to provide employment to 20 lakh people through centrally sponsored schemes like Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Rozgar Sijan Yojana, Mukhya Mantri Yuva Swarojgar Yojan and other schemes in next four years.

In this regard, MSME Minister Satyadeo Pachuri, said that the branding of schemes is compulsory in this modern era in order to catch global headlines.

He said that the Investors Summit has opened a wave of opportunities for Uttar Pradesh to sell its product globally.

Thus to promote local products that have a potential to touch global market space, UP government is organizing a state-level summit to discuss and seek experts opinions related to this, he added.

In this direction, Minister urged the officials to get well versed with the important aspects and details of the scheme so that they could tell the people about ODOP and redress the problems immediately.

Further, he added that the officials should ensure that MoUs which were signed during the Investors Meet in February should be implemented properly.

On May 27 over 10,000 people will be given loans under Mudra Yojana,” Pachauri said. (KNN YV)
