US delegation to visit GOA on 17 November along sidelines of Global Entrepreneurship summit
New Delhi, Nov 14 (KNN) The members of US delegation will visit Goa on November 17 ahead of 8th annual Global Entrepreneurship summit (GES) to be held in Hyderabad. Ivanka Trump, adviser to US President Donald Trump will lead the American delegation for the summit which will focus on supporting women entrepreneurs and fostering economic growth globally.
Purnima Voria, founder and CEO of National India US chamber of commerce (NUICC), Denver, Colarado, part of delegation will address the Goan business community on Friday.She had served as advisor to the Obama administration on national advisory council on minority business enterprises. GCCI(Goa chamber of commerce and industry) director R S Kamat informed that she will talk about trade and investment opportunities with USA and those interested can register their names in advance with GCCI as the guest list will be restricted to only 100.
Manguirish Pai Raikar, chairman of ASSOCHAM (The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry) said that this would be a great opportunity for Goan infotech companies especially software exporters to use the platform of NUICC and expand the business globally. (KNN/AG)
