On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Ministry of MSME launched a portal for women entrepreneurs of India: www.udyamsakhi.org.

Speaking on the Occasion he praised the role of women and said this portal will change the destiny of Nation and bring prosperity in India through involvement of women on large scale.

He said Prime Minister Make New India vision will be achieved by 2020 through this portal by linking rural women with technology.

He further suggested that it is necessary to bring changes in the policy and programs set by garment entrepreneurs in the direction of involvement of rural women in garment industry by building new infrastructure or model in rural sector like Bangladesh then India will progress by leaps and bounds.
