Mysore, July 9 (KNN) Women In Small Enterprise (WISE) organised an Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) for MBA students of Maharani’s Women’s Commerce and Management College, Vinayakanagar in Mysore. 

The organiser is the women’s wing of Mysore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI).

It was a two-day certificate course entailing the importance of entrepreneurship. 

The programme was inaugurated by T. Dinesh, Joint Director, District Industries Centre (DIC).

The aim of conducting the EDP was to promote Entrepreneurial Skills, Economic  Self-reliance and Women Empowerment. 

It envisioned to motivate students to become  Entrepreneurs — job-providers rather than job-seekers.

Dignitaries from WISE, MCCI and Maharani’s Women’s Commerce and Management College were present on the occasion. (KNN Bureau)
