New Delhi, 25 Jan (KNN) Arun Jaitley National Institute of Financial Management (AJNIFM) proposes to create a panel of scholars/ analysts for writing original researched content/ articles on topical issues in the area of public finance, macroeconomics, political economy, Indian economy, financial markets, socio-economic issues, international relations, climate change, public policy, public procurement etc which will provide policy inputs.

Research scholars pursuing doctoral/post-doctoral programs, faculty research associates, assistant professors and above associated with universities/ colleges, analysts working in reputed research institutes/ think tanks involved in policymaking and retired civil servants with proven research/ academic pursuits may send their applications (in prescribed format) on or before 10th February 2022 at director-nifm@nic.in.

The Arun Jaitley National Institute of Financial Management (AJNIFM) is a Centre of Excellence specializing in capacity building of professionals in the fields of Public Policy, Financial Management, and other governance issues for promoting the highest standards of professional competence and practice. 

AJNIFM was set up in 1993 as a registered society under the Ministry of Finance, Government of India. AJNIFM plays a pivotal role in governance and administrative reforms by providing a platform for interaction and exchange of ideas and experiences among officers from different organized services, different state governments, and between personnel of civil and defense establishments. AJNIFM has become a premier resource center to meet the training needs of the Central Government for senior and middle-level management.

The outcomes of such research studies are published and disseminated through Research Papers, Journals, and Books.

The Academic Advisory Committee of the AJNIFM assists AJNIFM in all matters related to creating, maintaining, and expanding the academic, training, and research environment. This committee also has eminent members from the acclaimed academic fraternity of India. The Management Committee of AJNIFM handles the day-to-day affairs of the institute.
