ICC organising ICC Banking & MSME summit in Guwahati

Guwahati, Jan 21 (KNN) The Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) will organize the ICC Banking and Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) summit 2020 today in the city.

The summit aims at development of the banking and MSME industry in Northeast India by finding out the roadmap towards industrial growth and addressing current challenges.

It will also fin appropriate solutions to the challenges with the interference of central and state governments, regulatory bodies and the governing authorities.

‘Transformation- Opportunities Vs Challenges’, ‘Strengthening internal control mechanism for improved fraud risk management’ and ‘EXIM policy directions between DGFT & MSME’ are some of the topics which will be discussed at the summit here.

Apart from these topics, the summit will also have a thorough discussion on ‘Potential scope for Industrial Growth in NE-East India’, ‘MSME Schemes-scopes, market potential and roadmap for development’ and ‘Way forward to enhance customer satisfaction with innovative technology and services’.

The Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) is a leading institution of trade and business in the eastern and northeastern region of India and is engaged in facilitating the growth of trade and commerce in the region.

The inaugural address will be delivered by S S Meenakshi Sundaram, Commissioner and Secretary to the government of Assam.

Ishantor Sobhapandit, regional director-NE, ICC; Sasikumar, additional DGFT, Guwahati, will address the sumit, while the special address will be delivered by Innocent Soren, general manager-FED, Reserve Bank of India, Assam.
