Kerala Govt to develop unused properties for office space for startups

Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 10 (KNN) As a part of the 'unlocking space bank' initiative, the Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) is looking for unused houses, flats and rooms to provide as office space to startups.

After their incubation period KSUM under this initiative aims to provide office space to startups.

Those who have houses or rooms that are not being used could offer their premises for rent to such companies. If the location is found suitable, KSUM will provide the workspace to startups, as per a report by Onmanorama.

KSUM has incubators for startups that were floated 11 to 36 months ago.

Many startups are in search of adequate office space including those that started five years ago are still continuing in incubation centres.

This has been preventing fresh startups from using the Mission's incubation facilities.  (KNN Bureau)
