MP Chief Minister admits MSMEs in trouble during Covid, assures help

Bhopal, Apr 8 (KNN) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has assured Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) of all possible help in tackling the economic situation due to COVID-19.

Chouhan made this assurance on Wednesday during a discussion with the representatives of MSME in the state where he sought their suggestions pertaining to the improvement in the economic situation.

''This crisis has not only affected the health of the people but has hit the economy hard adding. With the economic point of view, the industrial units are in trouble,'' he said.

This besides a challenge is an opportunity too; we together will save all from this crisis and create a new state, he added.

The Chief Minister said that by working with perseverance, passion and devotion, we will again speed up the economic activities.

Chouhan also informed the industrialists that a provision of 300 labourers in place of 100 has been made in the Industrial Dispute Act. Moreover, provisions have been made for a transparent system in inspection, to grant permission of registration in one day instead of 30 days.

''After studying the suggestions given by industrialists, other necessary decisions will be taken. It is our goal to ensure that all industries operate smoothly,'' he added.

He further said that the state government is committed to solving your problems.
