Hyderabad, Mar 23 (KNN) One day workshop on skill development and livelihood opportunities for youth and micro enterprises is being organized by National Institute for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (ni-msme) here on March 27, 2019.

Objective of the event is to help micro enterprises identify the new opportunities in the areas of entrepreneurship development.

The workshop aims at helping youth entrepreneurs to identify the potential markets for their produce through innovative survey methods.

Enhance the knowledge of the entrepreneurs as well as implementers is another major reason behind the event.

The Training programme would include presentations, interactive lecture sessions, case Studies and sharing of experiences by young budding entrepreneurs, nodal officers, officers of municipal administration/ SUDA, /SLNA, PMU, NGOs, state officials of other departments and banks.

Topics like skill development as a strategy for eradication of urban poverty, hands on livelihood business incubator and employability skills for urban poor and creating a framework for analyzing livelihood intervention choices will be discussed during the workshop.

Urban poverty alleviation programs through microfinance and self-employment and methodologies of market survey for identification of viable enterprises will also be discussed during the event.

Representatives of developmental financial institutions/non-government organizations/funding agencies/training institutions/banks engaged in promoting and financing SHGs, representative of federations local area banks networking agencies will also be presented at the event. (KNN/JM)
