Rajasthan CM asks Centre too to give 3 yrs of no permission facility to MSMEs like the state

New Delhi, June 17 (KNN) Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot in the meeting of the Governing Council of the NITI Aayog said his government has enacted a legislation to keep the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) free from any requirement of prior permission up to three years.

This exception is applicable under the state laws.

He urged the Centre to give exception to all small and medium enterprises (SMEs) from mandatory permission at the national level for first three years.

He asserted that the state government should be allowed to use 50 percent of the funds in a flexible manner in the Centrally Sponsored Schemes.

On the Essential Commodities Act, he said that Centre should constitute a Committee of Secretaries of States and related departments to suggest amendments in the present law to ensure wide consultations on the draft of the new Act.
