Seminar organized in Jammu on Niryat Bandhu for achieving benefits in export sector

New Delhi, Nov 19 (KNN) A seminar in respect of Prime Minister’s initiative on Niryat Bandhu for micro small medium enterprises (MSME) outreach at Jammu has been organized to achieve the benefit in export sector which will help to boost the economy of the state.

The seminar was organized by Bari brahmana industries association (BBIA) in collaboration with Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC), Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), Jammu and Kashmir industries and commerce department at Jammu. 

BBIA President, Lalit Mahajan while welcoming the officials of EEPC India, DGFT and director of industries and commerce Jammu explained the present scenario of the state in respect of export Sector.

Mahajan also thanked EEPC India & DGFT for organising the first ever programme in the state which will help the industrial units for the export of their quality finished products from Jammu to outside the country.

EEPC India, Regional Director, Rakesh Suraj on global business opportunities in IESS VIII highlighted the Schemes & benefits provided by EEPC for the industrial sector which will help the industrial units of Jammu and Kashmir to explore their business in export sector.

Industries and commerce, Jammu and Kashmir, Director, Ravi Shanker Sharma also spoke on the occasion and suggested EEPC India and DGFT to organize more such seminars with the participation of large scale units.

Ashutosh Srivastava, Executive Officer of EEPC conducted the proceeding of the seminar.

Ajay Langer, General Secretary, BBIA presented the vote of thanks.
