IndiaAI, MeitY & UP Govt To Host Regional AI Impact Conference 2026 In Lucknow

Lucknow, Jan 12 (KNN) IndiaAI and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), in collaboration with the Government of Uttar Pradesh, will host the Uttar Pradesh Regional AI Impact Conference 2026 in Lucknow on January 12–13.

The conference will showcase applications of artificial intelligence in governance and public service delivery, while aligning state-level initiatives with the objectives of the IndiaAI Mission.

The event will serve as a precursor to the India AI Impact Summit 2026, scheduled to be held in New Delhi from February 16–20. It is part of a national series of eight Regional AI Impact Conferences being organised across the country in the run-up to the summit.

The Lucknow conference will bring together senior policymakers, officials from the state and central governments, representatives of global institutions, industry leaders, researchers and innovators.

Discussions will centre on the responsible, inclusive and scalable adoption of artificial intelligence, with a particular emphasis on healthcare systems, digital public infrastructure, economic growth and social impact.

Over two days, the conference will feature plenary sessions on the global AI landscape, AI-driven healthcare delivery, state-level preparedness and capacity building, digital public infrastructure for health, AI-enabled diagnostics and clinical innovation, and workforce empowerment.

The programme will also include startup showcases, hackathon outcomes and industry-led demonstrations aimed at translating policy frameworks into population-scale impact.
