    <fulldesc>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Kolkata, July 21 (KNN)&lt;/strong&gt; The Industrial Investment Promotion Board will improve ease of doing business in the state and would also send a positive message among the investors, said Bengal National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BNCCI).&lt;/p&gt;&#13;

&lt;p&gt;Talking to KNN, Suparno Moitra, General Secretary, BNCCI, said, India and World Bank are talking about ease of doing business. Even the Prime Minister is very serious about it that is why he is stressing the states for ease of doing business initiatives.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has declared the formation of an Industrial Investment Promotion Board (IIPB) which will be an umbrella organization of all industry-related corporations and other bodies of the state government.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;He said that CM Banerjee formed IIPB under a retired bureaucrat and there are two advisors under this board, one is chief secretary of the state Basudev Banerjee and second is finance and commerce minister Dr. Amit Mitra. Principal Secretaries of around six or seven departments will also work in the board and MSMEs too would also be involved in the IIPB.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;

&lt;p&gt;The new body will be bigger than the West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation. Mamata Banerjee said this board will help small and medium scale enterprises to invest in the state in different sectors.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;

&lt;p&gt;It was learnt that once functional, bodies such as West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation (WBIDC), West Bengal Small Industries Development Corporation (WBSIDC) and West Bengal Infrastructure Investment Development Corporation (WBIIDC) would be brought under the fold of the IDPB. &lt;strong&gt;(KNN Bureau)&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
