ENA Economy 2016-12-13 07:59:53 <p><strong>Bengaluru, Dec 13 (KNN)</strong> The apex body for MSME Associations in the country, FISME, along with the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) is organizing a roundtable here tomorrow on implications of GST for MSMEs in order to help them adapt the GST regime smoothly.</p> <p>SIDBI-FISME jointly with Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce &amp; Industry (FKCCI) is organizing the roundtable GST: Identifying implications and facilitating adoption by MSMEs.</p> <p>A path breaking indirect Tax reforms is underway in India as Goods and Services Tax (GST) is being rolled out. Its repercussions will be felt by all economic sectors-small or large. To apprise MSMEs of the current state of debate about GST and to elicit their feedback to develop a capacity building agenda for smooth adoption by MSMEs, SIDBI and FISME have jointly initiating a nationwide campaign to hold a series of roundtables and webinars, said the organizers.</p> <p>Officials from SIDBI along with Bimal Jain, GST Expert cum A2Z Taxcorp Executive Director and other industry experts would deliberate on the subject.</p> <p>The first two programmes in the series have been held in New Delhi and Mumbai. After Bengaluru, the roundtables will be held in Kolkata and Ahmedabad.</p> <p>Through the nationwide campaign, SIDBI along with FISME, is handholding the MSMEs for implementation of GST by organizing roundtables like this, webinars, handbook etc.</p> <p>The format of the programme is of roundtable to facilitate free and frank discussion by all participants. M.C.
