ENA Economy 2017-07-20 06:51:10 <p><strong>New Delhi, July 20 (KNN)</strong> The Union Cabinet has given its ex-post facto approval for the promulgation of the Central Goods and Services Tax (Extension to Jammu &amp; Kashmir) Ordinance, 2017 and Integrated Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Bill, 2017.</p> <p>It has also approved replacement of the Ordinance by the CGST (Amendment) Bill, 2017 and IGST (Amendment) Bill, 2017.</p> <p>In a release, the Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi said The Ordinance has extended the provisions of the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 referred to as (CGST Act) to the State of Jammu &amp; Kashmir. </p> <p>Also, the Ordinance has extended the provisions of the Integrated Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 referred to as (IGST Act) to the State of Jammu &amp; Kashmir. </p> <p>The Ordinance has been promulgated on 8th July, 2017 and both the Bills will be tabled in the current session of the Parliament. <strong>(With PIB Inputs)</strong></p> 17587 http://knnindia.co.in/news/newsdetails/economy/cabinet-approves-cgst-and-igst-amendment-bills-2017 2017-07-20 06:51:10 knnindia.co.in
