ENA Knowledge Resource 2017-10-25 06:02:34 <p><strong>New Delhi, Oct 25 (KNN) </strong>The Minister for Commerce and Industry Suresh Prabhu recently launched the official website for the Cell for IPR Promotion and Management (CIPAM), the web-portal aims to provide the different stakeholder with information pertaining to the Intellectual Property Rights and its policies.</p> <p>A press release from Commerce and Industry Ministry informed that the website is set up with an aim to provide regular updates on all upcoming events including awareness and sensitization programs.</p> <p>Also information on all Intellectual Property Rights, resource material on IPRs is made available on the new portal for the different stakeholders including agencies, academia and industry.</p> <p>The website provides regular updates on the latest IP trends, statistics on applications filed, examined, grants and disposal for various IPRs.</p> <p>The Ministry in the release said that this new website is likely to prove instrumental in facilitating the various initiatives being taken by the Government.</p> <p>Also it would help strengthen the IPR regime in the country, the release added.</p> <p>CIPAM has been set up under the aegis of DIPP with a mandate to effectively implement the National Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Policy. <strong>(KNN/DA)</strong></p> 18275 http://knnindia.co.in/news/newsdetails/knowledge-resource/cipam-gets-new-website-ipr-related-updates-knowledge-resource-made-available-on-the-portal 2017-10-25 06:02:34 knnindia.co.in
