ENA Sectors 2018-07-10 07:45:16 <p><strong>New Delhi, July 10 (KNN) </strong>After signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI), a Chamber of Marathwada Industries and Agriculture (CMIA) delegation visited Ghana to explore business opportunities and strengthen bilateral relations between the two sides.</p> <p>The delegation was led by Ramchandra Bhogale aiming towards developing new business trade opportunities between India and Ghana.</p> <p>During the 5-day visit, delegation members met many professionals from India settled in Ghana for many years including Maharashtra Mandal Office Bearers. </p> <p>India-Ghana Business forum meet that happened on July 3, 2018 in Accra, Ghana, saw a participation of more than 120 delegates including government officials of Ghana.</p> <p>During the business forum meeting, the delegates from both India and Ghana deliberated on cooperation between two nations in terms of business and trade.</p> <p>During the second part of the programme, sector wise B2B meetings happened with CMIA delegation .</p> <p>The delegation also visited the Institute of Applied Science &amp; Technology (University of Ghana) to explore various research projects with CMIA and to promote CMIA initiatives in Ghana through Advance Engineering.</p> <p>During their visit, CMIA had a meeting with GIZ Ghana to share the initiatives of CMIA with GIZ and to understand initiatives of GIZ in Ghana where CMIA can help or associate.</p> <p>GIZ shared various initiatives with Ghana Govt. and requested CMIA to participate and promote these initiatives.</p> <p>The CMIA delegation also had a very good meeting with the officials of government of Ghana to understand One District One Factory program of Ghana wherein CMIA Delegation shared a lot of policy intervention by the state government.</p> <p>The Director of One District One Factory program requested CMIA Delegation to share such policy with them to customize.</p> <p>CMIA delegation visited Ghana free zones board to understand this program and invited them to Aurangabad to promote this program.</p> <p>The sectors that were given focus on for building business ties included Agri-Automatio, Food Processing, Waste Management, Energy Conservation and Renewable Energy Application, Component manufacturing for Auto Parts and Knowledge Transfer and Research in Technical Education.</p> 20297 http://knnindia.co.in/news/newsdetails/sectors/cmia-delegation-visits-ghana-to-push-trade-cooperation 2018-07-10 07:45:16 knnindia.co.in
