    <fulldesc>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;New Delhi, July 13 (KNN) &lt;/strong&gt;India can become a world food factory as it is capable of supplying growing need of the foods for the world population that is on rising track, said Food Processing Minister Harsimat Kaur Badal.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;

&lt;p&gt;She was addressing a conference organized by Indo-Dutch Chamber of Commerce and Sciences.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;She said the government is making all efforts to boost food processing industry in the country and for that special fund has been created.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;To create an infrastructure for the food processing industry in the country, the government has signed an agreement with some countries worth $ 4 trillion, she added.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;Expressing concern over damaging of crops post harvesting, she said such losses can be tackled by tech-based interventions.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&#13;
&lt;p&gt;Speaking on the occasion, the Netherland ambassador to India Alphonsus Stoelinga assured to give all support to the Indian government in its endeavor to ensure food security&lt;strong&gt;.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
