New Delhi, Oct 13 (KNN) Feedback from the industry will now rank states in the ease of doing business, instead of systems and producers, said Samit Sharma, Commissioner of Industries, Rajasthan.

His statement came after taking meeting of the related departments in the state.

Sharma quoted, Officers of 18 departments implementing the ease-of-doing initiative in the state were briefed about the new norms which call for feedback from the industry.

He added, There will be 80 points on which feedback will be sought and accordingly the ranking will be decided.

The feedback mechanism will be a realistic barometer as to the business climate in the state has improved or not, said industrial bodies in the state , on reacting to the new system.

As last year Rajasthan made it among top performers in the rankings, the parameters were confined on putting it in the right systems and processes for various approvals and clearances.
