ENA Sectors 2018-11-06 10:01:37 <p><strong>New Delhi, Nov 6 (KNN) </strong>In a bid to popularize khadi products and make them easily available to people, Haryana Khadi and Village Industries Board will organize a Khadi Fashion Melas in 2019.</p> <p>In February 2019, Haryana Khadi and Village Industries Board would complete its 50 years, said Chairperson of Haryana Khadi and Village Industries Board, Gargi Kakkar.</p> <p>She said that first online Khadi selling centre of the state has already been launched and Khadi selling stores would be opened at the district level and also outside the state.</p> <p>She further added that the boards initiative of online Khadi selling centres would reach the common people, adding that spinning cotton on Charkha has taken a bigger form and today wearing Khadi has become fashion.</p> <p>Adding to the statement, she said Government has been requested to arrange an adequate budget to the Board to promote Khadi production.</p> <p>She said all efforts would be made to establish the identity of Khadi products of Haryana Khadi and Village Industries Board in the country as well as abroad.</p> 21247 https://knnindia.co.in/news/newsdetails/sectors/hkvb-to-organize-khadi-fashion-mela-in-2019 2018-11-06 10:01:37 knnindia.co.in
